Tina Billberry, MSN, RN was selected from six finalists as the university’s Outstanding Master’s Graduate during Fall 2019 Commencement Exercises.  Ms. Bilberry graduated with a 4.0 GPA from the MSN program and is a 2015 graduate of UL Lafayette’s RN to BSN program.  While enrolled in the MSN program, Tina investigated the use of e-cigarettes in adolescents and developed a video based on her research findings.  Other research conducted by Ms. Bilberry includes projects focused on reducing mortality rates from sepsis in patients transferred from rural hospitals and research on improving screening for breast and lung cancer. Tina is from Alexandria.
